What is Coaching?

HOW DOES IT WORK?

It is conversation designed to challenge perception, actively listen and find new perspective. Friends will often tell you what you want to hear but a Coach will ask you questions you need to hear.  They are an impartial ‘critical friend'.

IS IT LIKE THERAPY?

Coaching is like a 'talking therapy’ for professionals, focused on discussion, challenging a client’s outlook and finding clarity of focus. It’s a form of supported reflection to find proactive ways of moving forward.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A SESSION?

We talk. The Coach asks questions and there is reflection, challenge and space to ponder and think about actions, reactions, intentions and opportunities. Sessions take place online or in your setting, or can be conducted at a mutually agreeable location.
